Sanitation Schedule

CLEARVIEW GARDENS SANITATION SCHEDULE
ALL HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE MUST BE PUT OUT AFTER 6:00 P.M.
SUNDAY, MONDAY AND THURSDAY

WEDNESDAY – ALL MIXED PAPER MUST BE PUT OUT ON TUESDAY NIGHT FOR WEDNESDAY PICK – UP. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Newspaper.
Magazines and catalogs.
Telephone books.
Paper, Mail, Envelopes, and Paper bags.
Soft cover books.
Smooth cardboard (FOOD AND SHOE BOXES, TUBES, CEREAL BOXES WITH THE LINER REMOVED).
Corrugated cardboard boxes (FLATTENED AND TIED IN BUNDLES)
 
These items must be bundled and tied or placed out in a TIED CLEAR PLASTIC BAG. 
Paper items placed out in any other bag, such as the white supermarket bag will not be accepted.

THURSDAY – ALL METAL RECYCLING MUST BE PUT OUT ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOR THURSDAY PICK-UP.
METAL RECYCLING CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:
 
Metal Cans.
Aluminum foil wrap and trays.
Household metal objects (such as wire hangers, pots, pans, dried out paint cans with lids removed)
Plastic bottles and jugs.
Beverage cartons and drink boxes.
Glass bottles and jars.
 
 
All these items must be put in a TIED CLEAR BAG and placed in YOUR BLUE PAIL. 
Every two apartments at the same address must have a BLUE RECYCLING PAIL with a proper fitting lid.

BULK GARBAGE

BULK – PICK UP IS ON MONDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY ONLY.
PLEASE BRING ALL BULK ITEMS TO THE CURB AFTER 6:00 P.M. THE NIGHT BEFORE.

REFRIGERATORS
STOVES
WASHING MACHINES
DRYERS
AIR CONDITIONERS
FURNITURE.
 
 

*NOTE: THE DOORS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE REFRIGERATOR PRIOR TO BEING PUT OUT.
ANY SHAREHOLDER WHO WISHES TO EMPTY DEBRIS FROM A GARAGE SHOULD CONTACT THE MAINTENANCE OFFICE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AT 718-352-8700. (ONLY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY)

NYC E-CYCLE PROGRAM

Clearview Gardens has joined the NYC E-Cycle program for recycling electronics. All shareholders can no longer put the following items out for sanitation:
T.V.’s                                                 
monitors
computers
laptops
small servers
printers/scanners
tablets/e-readers
mobile phones
MP3 players
VCR’s/DVR’s/DVD players
video game consoles
satellite boxes
fax machines
keyboards
mice
hard drives
You must contact the maintenance office and schedule an appointment to have these items picked up or you can bring them directly to the maintenance office yourself.
